Program:
An exciting program is being planned for this workshop. Poster sessions and several break out sessions for enhanced discussions will be part of the program. The program on Saturday morning session will be centered around NSF-funded iPlant Collaborative. They have agreed to give presentations (1 hour) and provide hands on training (1 hour) on various cyber infrastructure currently available for biology projects. In addition, during this session, at least two presentations will be on collaborations between members of the pollen community and iPlant Collaborative. Between 12:30 -3:30 PM on Saturday afternoon, a hike in the Saguaro National Park (East) has been planned to foster and allow continued interactions among members in a unique, natural, and a balmy setting (temperature will be favorable in Tucson in early March, a welcome break from the long dreary winter weather in other parts of the country).
